Rashmi Gore

Rashmi Gore

Rashmi Gore is a multidisciplinary creative based in Melbourne. An artist, architect, poet, and energy healer who weaves the visual and spiritual through her work. Her practice blends Indian indigenous art traditions with contemporary themes to create what she calls MELBANI, a fusion of Melbourne and Madhubani.

Rashmi is formally trained by national award-winning artists in Gond, Warli, Madhubani, Phad, and Lippan art styles. She enjoys experimenting with upcycled materials and layering techniques to create expressive, symbolic works that speak to ritual, identity, and connection.

She is the founder of Art N Easel, a community arts and education initiative she has run for over a decade, offering workshops, classes, public art, murals, exhibitions, and international collaborations. Rashmi is also the current director of Indian Australian Artists Inc., a not-for-profit organisation supporting artists of Indian origin in Melbourne.

Alongside her visual practice, she is the proprietor of Inner Light Wellness, where she offers holistic healing through Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, and Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy.

Her former design firm in India, Imaginations Unlimited, saw the successful delivery of a diverse range of architectural and interior design projects. Her creative journey is rooted in a deep belief in connection across cultures, lifetimes, and the natural world. With each work reflecting a harmony between inner experience and the shared human story.
